About Samos
Samos is a Greek island in the eastern Aegean sea known as the birthplace of the mathematician Pythagoras, the astronomer Aristarchus of Samos, the philosopher Epicurus, and the goddess Hera. It is also the land that hosted Herodotus, Aesop, the temple of Hera (The Heraion of Samos), Eupalinos tunnel, and that produces a wonderful Muscat wine.
