Fotios Loukissas

Fotios Loukissas is a Post Doc researcher at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial – Financial Mathematics, University of the Aegean, Samos, Greece (advisor: Prof. Alex Karagrigoriou).
He studied Mathematics at the University of Ioannina, (BSc 1990). He received his M.Sc in Mathematical Modelling at the University of the Aegean Dept. Mathematics, (M.Sc., 2008). He finished his Ph.D in Heavy tailed distributions from the University of the Aegean Dept. of Statistics and Actuarial Science, (Ph.D 2013).
His research interests lie among others in Stochastic Modelling, Stochastic Processes, Applied Probability, Large Deviations, Heavy Tailed Distributions, Risk Theory.
He has worked as a Post Doc researcher (2017-2020) at the Dept. of Information and Communications Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean.
